When planning to mount the blinds on the inside, ensure that your window recess is at least 1/4 inches larger than the blind size you purchase. Additionally, make sure you have 3/4 inches of depth or flat space to install the mounting brackets, or 2 inches if you want the blinds mounted flush with your frame.
