Your order will be produced at the exact size ordered, and no additional deductions will be made. The headrail and bottom rail are color-coordinated to the shade. Yes, the shades can be mounted on a door, in a bathroom, or a kitchen. The headrail is only 1-5/8" deep, and the headrail with bracket is 1-7/8" deep, with a headrail height of 1-1/8". The minimum mounting depth required is 1-1/8".

If you receive an incorrect size shade, please remove it from the box, take a picture of the measurement of the actual headrail with a metal tape measure, and provide it to the seller for review. Your shades should arrive between 7-10 days from your order date, depending on your location in the US. The product is covered for 3 years against manufacturer defects, and you can process a return through your account purchasing center/orders.

If you cannot get the headrail to snap into the bracket, please ensure the brackets are evenly aligned and leveled, and that they are not set too far back into the window, so you have enough room to seat the headrail into the bracket and make it "snap" into place. For inside mount, you only use one screw in the big oval hole on top of the bracket, not the two holes that are set back on top of the bracket.
